Friday Favorites- My Review of Driven by K. Bromberg

Ok, it’s time for Friday favorites again. Seriously, where did the week go? This week I read Driven by K. Bromberg. As a Passionflix founding member, I always read the book before I see the movie. Synopsis: The story follows Rylee Thomas and Colton Donavan as Colton pursues Rylee and she tries to resist him.

As an adoptive mom, I have to say that this book caught my attention very early on and then kept it. A fair amount of the plot centers around Rylee’s work with foster kids and Colton’s issues as an older adoptee.

I could 100% understand these issues as my kiddos were adopted at age 11 and 15.

I love these characters. I could completely relate to Rylee as she is feisty and stubborn...I may possess those traits or at least my family tells me this. I’m anxious to learn more about Colton in Fueled (Book 2 of this series), as his whole back story isn’t given in Driven. Both characters are dealing with some heavy stuff from their pasts and both question their ability to have a relationship with the other.

The story overall is well-rounded. It has a little humor, a little dark, plenty of sexy, and a compelling and at times heart-wrenching story line.

I give it a 5/5. Let’s just a say, I immediately bought Book 2 and started reading it. I’ll let you know how that goes, stay tuned...
