Teaser Tuesday!

Well, we are getting closer to the release date for Island! And I’m almost through edits on book three in the Portentous Destiny Series! This last week has been super busy...am I saying that every week? I feel like I am. I think it’s just that February has been crazy! But good crazy. I’m excited to be on this awesome journey and to keep bringing you more fun reads! So thanks for following along:) Here’s this week’s Island teaser:

A Picture's Worth a Thousand Words

I've been holding onto this cover for a few weeks now and it's been burning a hole in my pocket! I had the pleasure of working with Arijana over at Cover It! Designs and she is fantastic! I wanted something simple. I know, lots of romance books have 'abs' on the cover, but I just didn't feel that vibe for this book. I hope you love it as much as I do! It really symbolizes so much about the story. In just one more month, you will be able to meet Jack and Laura! Until then, I hope you enjoy the cover and upcoming teasers!

New Friends = New Reads

My cover reveal is tomorrow!! Super excited to share it with everyone! In the meantime though, I’ve met some amazing authors recently and we have formed a group called Kiss and Tell Romance. You can find us on Facebook and Goodreads.  In fact, if you join the group on Facebook this week and comment you could be entered for a chance to win a $50 Amazon e-gift card.  https://m.facebook.com/groups/kissandtellromance Over the next few weeks, I’ll be reading and reviewing my fav reads from these awesome ladies. Up first, the fabulous Ashley Hastings. His Wife is a great romantic suspense!  How can I best describe it? If Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho, Rebecca, and Jane Eyre had a baby, it would be His

Teaser Tuesday- Double Bonus

It’s my second Teaser Tuesday and this week I have a second bonus for you.  (Drum roll please) - The Book Blurb! I am also working away at edits to Books 2 & 3 in the Portentous Destiny Series. I can’t wait for you to read those, too! And I even have a rom-com that I may just toss your way this summer! Maybe...😉 So without further ado:

Cats...yep, cats. They always wake me up at convenient times, like, oh, 3am. So I read. Only I’m a marathon reader, and now it’s 4:44. But I did finish Inferno Part 2 by TK Leigh. I had anxiously awaited Part 2 since reading Part 1 in The Vault collection. So I rearranged my TBR and dove in. Synopsis: The story of Eleanor and Dante continues after the revelation at the end of Part 1. More secrets are divulged and Dante’s past begins to be unveiled. I don’t want to give too much away, so no spoiler alerts. I loved learning more about Dante in this book. And I love that Eleanor’s strength grows. This book has you rooting for them. There’s still layers to peel back and TK gives just enough hint

Teaser Tuesday- Island

The official countdown is on! Only a few more weeks until I release my debut novel, Island. And why should you put in your TBR? Well, let’s talk about that, shall we?😉 Island is the first of five books in the Portentous Destiny Series. They will be released over the next year. These romantic suspense novels follow one family’s journey down a dangerous path. Each book is set in a different location.  Yes, I’ve been to each location. (I may have a little travel problem!) I wanted to create a series that had strong female main characters, but also strong male characters. Many of these characters have been through some very tough life situations. It was important to me that the books had themes

Sneaking in Reading Time

Well, every year the first weekend of February is not only about Super Bowl parties, it means multi-family birthdays. So, I’ve had to sneak in my writing, editing, and reading this past week. I’ve had Rachel Van Dyken’s The Matchmaker’s Replacement on my TBR list for a while now, and I finally got to it. I wish I hadn’t waited so long! Synopsis: Ian and Lex run a dating service of sorts. This book picks up after The Matchmaker’s Playbook, in which Ian ends up falling for his BFF and ‘sister’ Gabi’s roommate, Blake, while trying to help her land a guy. This book picks up with Gabi and Lex, who normally fight constantly. However, they figure out that their clashing may be more about their sexu

Pulling an All-Nighter

I admit that I was not the all-nighter student.  Nope.  I was the ‘never procrastinated and always tried to get a goodnight sleep’ student. However, that rule never applied to reading for pleasure. Yep, from the ripe old age of about seven, I could be found under my covers reading just one more chapter.😂 And so, I found myself sucked into yet another late night reading fest this week. XO, Zach by Kendall Ryan delivered. I’ve read most of Kendall’s novels and so far, she has not disappointed me. Synopsis (mini-spoiler alert): Poppy, a single mom going to grad school, coerces a stranger at a party to pretend that he’s her boyfriend. And you can probably guess who ends up being her student adv
